TOM TAILOR Group launches B2B App
Hamburg, 14 January 2020. As of now, TOM TAILOR's trading partners can access the entire assortment of the B2B-Shop directly while being on the sales floor. During the current PANORAMA Berlin the fashion company is presenting the B2B App which was developed in-house to its customers for the first time. This digital service offer simplifies and improves the efficiency of the ordering process for the trading partners in the wholesale-segment considerably and forms the extension of the TOM TAILOR B2B Online-Portal.
Faster reordering through mobile purchasing
With the B2B-App TOM TAILOR's trading partners can not only scan the barcodes of the respective article via mobile to check the inventory, but also immediately see the availability of sizes and colors in the B2B-Shop. The reordering is made directly through the app. With a full-text search the entire TOM TAILOR assortment is also available for a quick order. The clear presentation of new products and promotions further optimizes the ordering process for the trading partners.
"We tested the App together with our area managers. From this testing phase an intuitive offer for our trading partners emerged, that makes the process of ordering products significantly faster and more efficient", explains Thomas Bretscher, Country Manager Germany of the TOM TAILOR Group. "In addition we work on the integration of Style-News, insights into new product lines through PDF and Push Notifications that addresses our customers more precisely. NOS-Folder and Track and Trace-offerings are supposed to follow", adds Bretscher.
Positioned towards the future through cooperation
In addition to the new app, the TOM TAILOR product range is also available on the Fashion Cloud B2B platform. Next to providing content on the platform, the company is now sharing availabilities via Clara, the cross-supplier app from Fashion Cloud, for direct reordering on the sales floor. Furthermore, in mid-February the company will become part of the order area of the Fashion Cloud web platform. Like this, the customers can conduct the management of their products through the platform they prefer. "With the availability both on FashionCloud and our own app we offer our wholesale-partners the solution that fits them best. Through such integrative offers, that center around our customers, we make TOM TAILOR future-proof. In addition, we expand our in-house digital competence", explains Gernot Lenz, CEO of the TOM TAILOR Group.
As of now, verified customers of TOM TAILOR's B2B-Shop can use the app by downloading it from the Apple Store or through Google Play. During the current start-up phase, the app is available in German and can be used in all countries in which TOM TAILOR operates.
