TOM TAILOR Group strengthens marketing as part of the digital unit
Oliver Dietrich becomes Global Marketing Director
Hamburg, August 9, 2019. With Oliver Dietrich as new Global Marketing Director, the TOM TAILOR Group further strengthens its business division. "Marketing is consciously part of the digital sector for us", says Stefan Wenzel, Global Vice President Digital of the TOM TAILOR Group. "We are delighted to have won over Oliver, an experienced brand expert with digital DNA."
Oliver Dietrich is supposed to fortify both the importance and desirability of the brand TOM TAILOR across all markets, channels and touchpoints. "I am very much looking forward to the exciting tasks that lie ahead of me", says Oliver Dietrich. "The enormous familiarity of TOM TAILOR and the understanding of brand and marketing being already anchored in the company are a good starting point for the successful further development of the brand perception." He reports directly to Stefan Wenzel.
Successful in-house competence
With doing so, TOM TAILOR Group is consistently pursuing its digital and marketing strategy, in which the company relies on the development of in-house competence. Thus, E-commerce was brought into the company at the end of 2017 and since then further investments have been made in expansion, including employees and a modern infrastructure. In addition to its own stores with a strong mobile focus, TOM TAILOR's E-Commerce also includes online wholesale and marketplace business.
Further expand digital competence
Previously, Oliver Dietrich was Director Creative Ideation at ProSiebenSat1 Media SE and successfully supported the brand development of digital business models and brands of the NUCOM Group. Prior to that, Dietrich was Digital Innovation Director and Integrated Creative Director for example at FHV BBDO, Razorfish and Publicis. He has received numerous national and international creative-, strategy-, digital- and business performance-awards.
